How Can I help?

Help keep our doors open!!
Tyddyn Bach Trust has cared for over 2,000 individuals since opening in 1997; offering each a very personalised and special kind of physical and emotional support.
We are entirely dependent on public support and goodwill for this work to continue.
We simply can’t keep the doors open without YOUR help !
Let guests tell their story at :-

The list of examples on this page is not exhaustive and any help you feel able to offer will make a huge difference to Tyddyn Bach and all those who benefit from our support.
Personal Donations
Anyone and everyone can send a donation at anytime, no amount is too small - "every little helps"
CHEQUES AND/OR POSTAL ORDERS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO:- Tyddyn Bach Trust.
Legacies
A legacy is one of the best gifts you can give us, as it provides a secure resource for our future. It can take the form of money or property. For further information please click here.
Core Funding
Tyddyn Bach desperately needs ongoing support just to keep its doors open. Approx. £80,000 a year is required to cover the basic running costs such as heating and lighting, salaries etc. Included in this are also fundraising costs.
Volunteering
Are you up for it?
Nothing gives you more of a buzz than making a real difference to someone's life. Seeing someone getting the most out of life through the work you do with them is something very special.

Sponsorship
As part of our social commitment, Tyddyn Bach offers monthly residential rehabilitation placements to individuals at the end of their custodial sentence. £2,000 would help fund 4 placements. Volunteers are able to acclimatise themselves safely to life outside prison. In return they are expected to carry out general maintainence and repair duties at the Centre, using skills that they already have, helping them regain confidence and self worth.
Enabling us to Help More!

To help to secure funding to enable us to offer rooms to those individuals and families in most urgent need of our help - where access to funding is a problem. £10,000 would help us support over 100 individuals, including families and carers.
Equal Access for All
As part of our fundamental commitment to equality of service, we need to make certain alterations:
Disabled parking to rear of building
£2,000;
To instal a carpark to enable us to better fulfil our commitment to community support £15,000;
Househould Items
With fuel bills going through the roof we need urgent support to make us more self-sustainable e.g:
Secondary glazing £4,000;
Loft insulation £1000;
New Boiler £5000;
We would very much like to install renewable energy technology. Any help and advice to enable us to do this would be very gratefully received.
Project Costs
£5,000 to update our fire alarm sytem.
£2000 to purchase a small people-carrier to take groups on outings.
£500 to purchase childrens indoor and outdoor games and sports equipment.
